Studio Policies and Procedures

Diversity and Inclusion

As a community, we are united in our commitment to warmly welcome all identities related to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, body type, ability, status, and language diversity.

One of Nova Luna’s most solemn honors is sharing our yoga and meditation practice with others, and through that work, building a community focused on expanded awareness and compassion.  We believe in the importance of devoting energy in our work to align our minds and hearts as we seek insight into how we can each be personally accountable for improving the world around us, and for acting in ways that serve our highest purpose.

We believe yoga should be accessible to everyone and we will continue to welcome helpful conversations, open discussions, and do the inner and outer work as we walk together into our shared tomorrow.

Health Policies

The health and safety of our community is of utmost importance. Nova Luna’s team takes all reasonable steps to protect against the spread of Covid-19 and other illnesses using all-natural disinfecting products between classes and before and after each business day. We look forward to receiving you in our studio and aim to provide a safe space and healthy yoga environment for you. We understand you may wish to take additional precautions and welcome you to observe additional protocols at your own discretion.

  • Masks are not mandatory in studio but may be worn by any student who chooses to wear one.

  • In-Studio attendance is limited to allow for distancing. We encourage you to pre-register for classes. If you cannot sign up for a class online, please call or email the studio. We will be happy to help with your pre-registration.

  • Please stay home if you have any symptoms of illness, especially cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, loss of smell and/or taste, etc. We look forward to practicing with you when you feel well.

  • We encourage all students to wash their hands before and after class. We also have hand sanitizer in studio.

  • We have props in studio available for community use, but welcome students who do not feel comfortable sharing these to bring their own blocks, mats, bolsters, blankets, or other items. Please leave all studio equipment at the studio- we clean and sanitize it, and wash the pillow cases for the bolsters and the blankets.

  • Our water fountain is not currently available for use. Please bring your own water in a sealed container. We also have bottled water for sale.

Studio Policies

  • All students must sign the liability waiver policy via the Nova Luna app, website, or on paper while checking in before taking their first class. There will be no exceptions made to this policy.

  • All students must have their own memberships. Memberships cannot be shared.

  • Please leave shoes in the designated collection area before entering our practice space. Shoes are not permitted in the main studio.

  • Nova Luna is a tobacco free facility. This includes vaping, which is prohibited in our space.

  • Lockers are available for personal belongings during class. Items left in lockers longer than 24 hours will be placed in our lost and found area. While we make every effort to reconnect owners with lost items, Nova Luna Yoga and Wellness and it’s employees or contractors are not responsible for any personal items left behind.

  • Please arrive five to ten minutes before class to allow time to settle in and so our teachers can begin classes on time.

  • Unless specifically noted as a children’s class, our classes are designed for students 16 years of age and older. Children between 16 and 18 must have a parental consent form signed to attend classes. Children between 14 and 16 may attend yoga classes with a parent or legal guardian who is taking the same class with them, and must have a parental waiver signed. Children younger than age 14 may only attend classes specifically designated for children and must have a parental waiver signed.

  • We love small children, however, we are not licensed to provide childcare and do not permit children who are not signed up for classes to be in the studio lobby or in the practice space while adult classes are being held. There will be no exceptions to this policy, for liability reasons.

Refund and Cancellation Policies

  • Class packages and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

  • Class credits do not roll over from month to month.

  • All boutique purchases are final.
